As a child, Beth Anne wrote all the time. Her 3rd through 6th-grade teacher, Mrs. Hall, spent countless hours helping her edit messy manuscripts about westward expansion and the Civil War in Charleston. She set her writing dreams aside and earned Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education as well as a Montessori Elementary Credential. After years of fostering a love of literature and history with her students, Beth Anne discovered her writing voice again.
Her first publication, “Tracing the Spirit,” is part of the award-winning anthology, Feisty Deeds: Historical Fictions of Daring Women. Her second short story is expected this winter in Feisty Deeds II: Historical Tales of Batches and Brews. Beth Anne is also a Sundial Writer, storyteller, and educator. When she’s not writing, Beth Anne enjoys antiquing and traveling. She shares her home with her two-peas-in-a-pod husband and goddaughter and playful furbabies.
Beth Anne is a member of the Women's Fiction Writers Association, Alabama Writers' Forum, and the Alabama Historical Association.
